CPA statement on the passing of Le Kha Phieu

Dear Comrades,

The Communist Party of Australia (CPA) sends its deepest condolences to the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and to the Vietnamese people on the occasion of the passing of former CPV General Secretary Le Kha Phieu.

A comrade to many, Phieu dedicated his life to the socialist revolution, serving in the Vietnam People’s Army, fighting to liberate his people from colonialism.

We are positive that Phieu’s legacy and life will be remembered and that he will serve as a shining example among many for generations to come.
