Marie Lean

Delegates at Congress stood to give a standing ovation to retiring Central Committee member Marie Lean. Marie joined the Party in 1951 after having been active in the Eureka Youth League. She has served on the Party’s Central Committee since the early 1990s and has always been noted for her thoughtful contributions and comradely attitude. Party President Vinnie Molina spoke to the Congress about her lifelong commitment and pointed out that she will be continuing in her role on the South Australian State Committee and in the West Adelaide Branch.
